Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Termination for Convenience
We believe in honest, outcome-driven partnerships. Either party may terminate an active Statement of Work (SOW) at any time for convenience by providing 14 calendar days written notice to the other party.
In the event of termination, the Client is only obligated to pay for work completed and verified up to the effective date of termination.
2. Milestone Refund & Accounting Rules
Unstarted Milestones
Any deposit or advance payment held for milestone phases where engineering has not yet commenced will be 100% refunded within 5 business days of written termination notice.
In-Progress Milestones
For milestones in active development, billing is calculated on a pro-rata basis reflecting verified engineering hours completed up to the notice date. Unused balances are refunded immediately.
3. Immediate Deliverable Handover
Zero Hostage Code Guarantee
Upon settlement of pro-rata accounting, Vasuttam Labs will immediately commit and transfer all current Git branches, architectural specifications, database schemas, and documentation artifacts to the Client's repository. We never hold code hostage during project pauses or cancellations.
4. Project Pause & Resume Protocol
Clients facing internal budget shifts or strategic pauses may place a project on hold for up to 90 days without incurring cancellation penalties. Engineering resources will be safely reassigned and recommenced upon 10 business days written notice.
